Chip Appel

Chip grew up in Laguna Beach, CA. After graduating from high school, he moved to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly. He later moved to Gainesville, FL to attend graduate school in soil science. To his great surprise and joy, God brought him back to the central coast to become a teacher at Cal Poly (a life-long hope and dream).  He lives in Morro Bay with his wife, Beth (an even better answer to prayer) and twin daughters, Beatrice and Maggie. Chip also likes to surf.

Seth Hock

Seth grew up in rural central Pennsylvania. He met his wife, Annie, at a local coffeeshop in 2001. They soon got married and drove their van out to California and have lived on the Central Coast since. Seth works with a great group of guys, designing and building custom furniture. He has two young children, River and Iris. If Seth isn't riding his four wheeler with River, you can probably catch him down at the beach surfing.

Ben Riddering

Ben has been a member of Trinity since 2000, when he moved to California from Colorado. Ben's vocation is as a maker of custom furniture. He and his wife have three young boys, who keep them busy. He is excited to see how God will use our church in the years to come.

Bret Rooks

Bret grew up in Fresno, CA before coming to San Luis Obispo to study architectural engineering at Cal Poly. In his time at Poly, he worked with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship, leading small groups and playing guitar with the worship team. Bret came to Trinity at a friend's recommendation and joined soon thereafter. He leads Trinity's music/worship team and facilitates a small group Bible study. He and his wife, Andrea, have two daughters, Natalie and Naomi.
